Pastor Paul Ostrem

Pastor Paul D. Ostrem has served as Senior Pastor at Zion since 1988.  A graduate of Waldorf College, Forest City, Iowa; Augustana College, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota; he previously served parishes at Hanlontown and Preston, Iowa.   In addition to preaching, teaching, and pastoral care, he is responsible at Zion for administration, stewardship, evangelism, and worship.   Pastor Ostrem serves on the board of directors for Lutheran Services in Iowa, the Lutheran Homes, and the Muscatine Center for Social Action.  His wife, Carol, is an elementary music teacher in the Muscatine School District.  They have two sons, David and Philip.
