Zion Lutheran Church Women

Purpose Statement - Women of the ELCA

As a community of women
      created in the image of God,
      called to discipleship in Jesus Christ,
      and empowered by the Holy Spirit,

We commit ourselves to
      grow in faith,
      affirm our gifts,
      support one another in our callings,
      engage in ministry and action, and
      promote healing and wholeness
      in the church, the society,
      and the world.

Membership

Zion Lutheran Church Women is composed of all confirmed women of the Church.  It's recognized that some women serve in areas of Christian service such as choir, Sunday School, altar guild, committee chairpersons, etc.  ALL women of the congregation, beyond confirmation age are the concern of the Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and are considered in planning.  Here at Zion Lutheran Church we welcome you to join any of our groups and/or attend any functions of your choosing.
